PUBLIC NOTICE
The Mayor of the Town of Silver City is accepting applications for one (1) volunteer position for
District 1 Councilor. Applicants for this position shall reside within District 1 of the Town of Silver
City. The term is for the remainder of the four-year Term ending in Dec. 31, 2023. The Town Council
meets on the second and fourth Tuesday every month at 6:00 P.M. and holds special meetings
as needed. Applications will be accepted until 5:00 P.M., on October 15, 2021. Successful
Applications will be reviewed by the Mayor and Council Members in Town Hall on October 18-22,
2021. The appointment for Councilor District 1 will be made at the Regular Council Meeting on
October 26, 2021. All applications must include complete contact information, Resume and a letter
of intent stating why you would like to serve as a Councilor in District 1. Applications are available
at City Hall, 101 W. Broadway or on the Town's website, www.townofsilvercity.org. If you would
