The Bayard City Council will conduct a Special Meeting on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at the Bayard City Hall, 800 Central Avenue, Bayard, NM 88023. The items on the agenda will include the hiring and promotion of employees within the police department, public works department and administration department. With a Closed Executive Session held pursuant to 10-15-1 (H-2) pertaining to limited personnel matters; Police Department–hiring of employees, Public Works department- promotion of employees, and Administration department- hiring of the Clerk-Treasurer. The Closed Executive Session is not open to the public and all final actions will be taken during open session (open to the public). The agenda may be altered up to seventy-two (72) hours prior to the meeting; copies can be obtained from the City Clerk’s Office .

The public is invited to attend. If you are an individual with a disability who is in need of a reader, amplifier, qualified sign language interpreter, or any other form of auxiliary aid or service to attend or participate in the hearing or meeting, please contact the city clerk at 800 Central Avenue (537-3327) at least one week prior to the meeting or as soon as possible.

The next regular meeting will be held on Monday, December 12 at 5:30 p.m. Any person wishing to be placed on the agenda should contact the City Clerk no later than 1:30 PM on the Wednesday preceding the posted date for the next regular meeting.
