DESCRIPTION:The Mimbres Valley Health Action League presents the 15th Annual Mimbres Va
 lley Harvest Festival on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 10 am to 4 pm at
  the San Lorenzo Elementary School, 2655 NM-35 in Mimbres, New Mexico.\nThe
  festival is a celebration of the bountiful crops produced in the Mimbres V
 alley. It is an opportunity for a community-wide gathering to participate i
 n a variety of fun activities including:\n\n - Farmers' Market – local grow
 ers will be selling fresh and preserved produce.\n - Arts &amp; Crafts Vend
 ors will showcase their unique creations.\n - Pie Contest will find the bes
 t pie baker in the area (full rules available on website).\n - Solar Cook-O
 ff allows solar chefs to demonstrate cooking with the sun followed by a pot
 luck for solar cookoff participants.\n - Children's Activities including ga
 mes, hands-on archaeology activities like corn grinding, whirling a bullroa
 rer, making a clay pot, and more!\n - Health Fair – FREE screening provided
  by HMS, GRMC, and the Student Nurses Association for Blood Pressure, Blood
  Glucose, Pulse Oximetry, Flu Shots and much more! The Health Fair is from 
 10 am to 2 pm and onsite registration is required.\n - Delicious Locally Pr
 epared Food by the following: Living Harvest Bakery, TGI Frybread, A Taste 
 of the Philippines, The Duck Stop, and Doc's Mesquite Pit BBQ. In addition,
  San Lorenzo Elementary will be selling Red Enchilada plates for their annu

 n the shade of the Big Tent. Get ready to dance to performances of American
