Albuquerque, June 17—Today in a unanimous decision, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of a Catholic foster care agency that refused to accept same-sex couples. The following is a statement from RPNM Chairman Steve Pearce on the important ruling:

"This Supreme Court decision is a victory for religious liberty. Our nation's Constitution makes it clear that faith-based organizations or groups should not be subjected to government interference or harassment due to their religious beliefs on marriage. The Constitution guarantees religious freedom, and this was the right decision. The exercise of religion should have the highest protection in our land, and the Justices agreed."
