The committee outlined how new regulations proposed by Governor Lujan Grisham will cost $730 million in lost revenue and destroy over 3,000 jobs in New Mexico's energy industry:

"This is further proof that this administration is in the pocket of the eco-extremists as they charge recklessly toward this unsustainable future for New Mexico. Democrats and Republicans agree this regulation will cost our state thousands of jobs and massive amounts of revenue, so the only question that remains is whether or not the Governor will care enough to listen."
