An example of an Old Master painting is Le Chapeau de Paille (The Straw Hat, above) by Peter Paul Rubens, Flemish, 1577-1640.The Grant County Art Guild is pleased to announce that its annual Old Masters Exhibit will be held April 3 through April 27, 2018 at the MRAC Gallery - Wells Fargo building (1201 North Pope Street, Silver City. Please come view artists' interpretations of Old Master works, meet the artists, and enjoy a finger food reception on Tues. April 3 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. One of the exhibits will be "The Milk Maid" by Vermeer. Vote for your favorite rendition of an artwork by a master artist while there.
