img 7101 copyThe Hi Lo Silvers women's chorus will present its annual Spring Concerts on Mother’s Day weekend. Concerts will be at 7 pm on Friday, May 11, and at 3 pm on Sunday afternoon, May 13, in the Presbyterian Church at 1915 N. Swan in Silver City. These concerts include fifteen songs by the Hi Lo Silvers and a duet, the Mozart Sonata No. 21 for piano and violin in E Minor, by Rhonda and Megan Gorog. The concerts are free.

The Hi Lo Silvers will sing show tunes, songs by Gershwin and Cole Porter, Hymn of Freedom, Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, Route 66, Rockin’ Robin, and others.
The Hi Lo Silvers are directed by Nada Dates and accompanied by Rhonda Gorog on piano, Bill Baldwin on string bass and Melinda McClanahan on drums. Anyone who would like to join the chorus is invited to attend a rehearsal and talk with Director Nada Dates. The Hi Lo Silvers rehearse on Wednesdays from 12:30-2:30 at the Presbyterian Church.
