The Silver City Museum hosts 36th Annual Ice Cream Social on Thursday, July 4 from 11am to 4pm. For decades the Ice Cream Social has been a highlight of the local Independence Day celebration. A full slate of live entertainment, seasonal treats, and old-fashioned pastimes will be featured, along with vendors and non-profit partners.

Admission and children’s activities are free as always. Tickets are available at the gates for refreshments, Cakewalk. Musical guests will entertain on the shady lawn of our courtyard, MC'd by the incomparable Raul Turrieta, hosting this year as the ring leader for our old-time carnival (don’t worry, “Uncle Sam” will still make an appearance).

Silver City Museum is located at 312 West Broadway, Silver City. For more info or to volunteer call 575-597-0229 or email volunteercoordinator@silvercitymuseum.org
