On Saturday September 14, LGBTQ Grant County will be hosting the 4th annual Silver City Pride Fest from 11am-5pm at Gough Park. A "Prelude to Pride" dance will take place on September 7 from 8pm till 11pm at the old Elks Club on the corner of Market and Texas, next to Vicki's. This dance (on Sept. 7) will feature DJ Milligram and will be hosted by our own Icee Tight. With other performances through the night.

Ted Tufares, President of LGBTQ Grant County sees Pride Fest "...as a great opportunity to celebrate diversity and for people from all walks of life to have a great time." With dozens of vendors, great food, a beer garden, fantastic "drag" performers, with local and out of town artists. And don't forget the "World Famous Doggie Drag Show!!" It would be impossible not to have fun!!

Currently we are focused on finding vendors for the Fest as well as sponsors and volunteers for this exciting event. We are looking for craft vendors, food vendors, non-profit groups and more, there is still plenty of room!!  Vendors can go to gaysilver.org to apply on line, or swing by the SWAG Store, across from the post office and fill out an application. Vendor fees are posted on the app.
