Lifetime Silver City potter Kate Brown will be the invited guest artist at Lois Duffy Art for the RED DOT Weekend at the Galleries, on Oct. 11 – 14, 2019.  She is a master of slip-decorated terra cotta functional dinnerware, serving pieces and decorative tile. Kate has made many thousands of pots that now have an intimate place in daily lives and celebrations. Kate will also be featuring the first public showing of Santa Rita House: a work in progress, an animated short documentary, telling an important Grant County story from the 1950’s & 60’s.  A short talk will accompany the showing at 5:30pm on Saturday and 12:30pm on Sunday.
