Galleries and Artists to showcase variety of artwork during 2019 event

Silver City, NM – September 23, 2019– RED DOT Weekend returns to galleries in historic Downtown Silver City, NM, this October 11-14, 2019. The annual event helps promote the Silver City Art Association’s mission of advancing the arts in Silver City and Grant County. 

Each October, art lovers from all over descend upon Silver City to explore special gallery exhibits and receptions in search for unique pieces. RED DOT Weekend also provides the opportunity to meet with exhibiting artists at both gallery and independent exhibits and participate in several workshops over Columbus Day weekend.

“We’re excited that this year’s event will add new artists and galleries to our already amazing lineup of resident artists and galleries,” said Diane Kleiss, President of the Silver City Arts Mission. “Whether it’s your first time to attend a RED DOT Weekend or you’re returning for another visit, you’ll always find affordable art unique to Silver City.”
