Silver City MainStreet is celebrating the tenth anniversary by promoting Shop Small and the downtown shopping district with forty-four businesses participating with deals, discounts, free drawings and treats on Saturday, November 30, 2019.

On Saturday, November 30, from 10 am to 2 pm, Silver City MainStreet will have a welcome station at The Hub, located at 600 N. Bullard St.  Shoppers can pick up a free canvas Shop Small tote and enter free drawings for MainStreet gift certificates. Lists of forty-four businesses offering special sales or drawings will be available.

There will also be a horse-drawn wagon to take shoppers around Bullard and Broadway Streets, weather permitting.

“Downtown is a great place to shop, states Patrick Hoskins, Board President of Silver City MainStreet. In addition to more than twenty-five galleries, downtown Silver City has more than twenty eateries, and more than twenty-five retail shops. And don’t forget The Silco Theater, a beautifully restored movie theater. If you have not been downtown in awhile, Small Business Saturday is the perfect day to shop downtown with the participating businesses offering special deals. The Lighted Christmas Parade is that evening and will begin at 7 pm.  We also have new holiday lights and the Fabulous Fiber Art Tree to make downtown festive. If you have out-of-town guests, bring them downtown and have some fun shopping and watching the parade.”

The mission of Silver City MainStreet is "To encourage a vibrant, historic downtown Silver City which is recognized as the heart of our diverse community." Please visit our website, www.silvercitymainstreet.com to learn more.
