The annual Wreaths Across America program is well underway for 2020 when members of the Grant County community will remember Fort Bayard National Cemetery veterans during the Christmas holiday season on Saturday, December 19. The mission of Wreaths Across America, a 501©3 organization, is to REMEMBER, HONOR, and TEACH. Remember the fallen, Honor those who serve including their families who sacrifice and Teach our children the cost of the freedoms we enjoy each day.

Last year over 2 million wreaths were placed at locations throughout the United States and abroad, including Arlington National Cemetery. Won't you please join other individuals, organizations and businesses who are helping by sponsoring wreaths to place at Fort Bayard cemetery markers this December? Each wreath costs $15; however, for every two wreaths purchased, an additional third wreath will be donated to the Fort Bayard National Cemetery. Unique to Fort Bayard is that local special requests for wreath placements are honored with those placements guaranteed. Additionally, a lovely remembrance program is created listing each individual being honored with a wreath as well as the name of each wreath sponsor.

Wreath order forms can be located at facebook.com/FortBayardNationalCemeteryWAA/.
