The annual Wreaths Across America Remembrance Ceremony, originally scheduled for Saturday, December 19 at 10 a.m., has been cancelled. Due to National Cemetery Administration restrictions during the COVID pandemic, an alternative small, non-public wreath tribute to veterans and each branch of service will occur earlier in the week. The Fort Bayard National Cemetery Wreath Committee regrets this change but is grateful that a wreath will be placed at every gravesite again this year thanks to all the many sponsors. Each wreath will be placed respectfully by a small crew of committee members. The public is invited to drive through the cemetery any time on or after December 19.
