2021 is the 23rd year that Silver City galleries will welcome locals and visitors to the Silver City Art Association’s Weekend at the Galleries. On October 9 and 10, 16 galleries will hold Silver City’s biggest art event of the year.

Galleries will be filled with unique works of art created for the event, and will supply refreshments, music, demos and workshops. 22 artists have created Ravens and Gila monsters for the Silent Auction. From the sophisticated to the playful, traditional Mimbres and Southwest, to pop culture inspired, you’ll find a truly creative work of art. Preview and bid on the works in many of the galleries now. 

All of the works will be together in the Association’s booth on October 9 at the Maker’s Market, 7th and Bullard Streets, from 10am to 3pm. The highest bidders will be called when bidding closes at the Maker’s Market at 3pm. Proceeds will support the Association’s website in 2022.

Silver City has been listed as one of the “100 Best Art Towns in America”. Each year visitors from throughout the USA come to Weekend At the Galleries to celebrate the originality of Silver City’s artists.
