The annual Wreaths Across America program for Fort Bayard National Cemetery is underway for 2022. Members of the Grant County community are invited to remember and honor veterans buried at the cemetery during the Christmas holiday season. This year's Remembrance Ceremony will take place on December 17. Wreath placing will be held during the afternoon of December 16. Order form is below:

Last year over 2.4 million wreaths were placed at at 3,137 participating locations throughout the United States (including Arlington) and abroad by over two million volunteers. Please join other individuals, organizations and businesses who are helping by sponsoring wreaths to place at Fort Bayard. Each wreath costs $15; however, for every two wreaths purchased, an additional wreath will be provided.

Unique to Fort Bayard is that local special requests for wreath placements are honored with those placements guaranteed. Additionally, a remembrance program is created listing each individual being honored with a wreath as well as the name of each wreath sponsor.
