P R O C L A M A T I O N

 WHEREAS, The Village of Santa Clara is proud to host the Tamal Fiesta Y Mas "2022" on November 19, 2022, and the festival is a celebration of local Hispanic culture through food, music, performances and more; and

WHEREAS, Tamal Fiesta Y Mas is a community-wide event hosted by the Village of Santa Clara, the prior host the Town of Silver City hosted the event for 16 years and graciously turned over the tamal to the Village in 2018; and

WHEREAS, and the festival is a celebration of local Hispanic culture through food, music, performances and more; and

WHEREAS, The Tamal Fiesta Y Mas shall celebrate the unique Hispanic culture within Grant County and throughout New Mexico; and

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Richard Bauch, Mayor of the Village of Santa Clara, Grant County, New Mexico, do hereby proclaim November 19, 2022 as the Fith ever and be it further proclaimed that for all citizens it is the official day of the Tamal Fiesta Y Mas
