Wreath placement at Fort Bayard National Cemetery is planned for this Friday, December 16. Special requests will occur at 2 pm. The remaining wreaths will be placed at 2:30 and volunteers are invited to help with this activity. Due to ongoing construction within the cemetery, no vehicles will be allowed inside the gates. Please park outside the cemetery.

In order to pay respect to each veteran receiving a wreath, the placer says the name on that individual marker and thanks him/her for their service as the wreath is leaned into the marker, bow on top.

On Saturday morning, December 17, the annual Wreaths Across America Remembrance Ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. All are welcome and invited to attend this veterans' tribute when a printed program will be provided listing some 600 'In Memoriam' names as well as our over 500 wreath sponsors.
