The Tapestry of Talent Fiber Art Fashion show, a fundraiser for the SW Women's Fiber Arts Collective (SWFAC) features wearable fiber art and accessories. The fiber art fashions made by members of SWFAC showcase one-of-a-kind designs created especially for the event. The show will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024 with doors opening at 1:15 pm at the historic Silco Theater located at 311 N. Bullard St. in downtown Silver City. Funds raised by the event will go to support classes, outreach to the community, and sales events.

Metamorphosis is the theme of the fashion show’s finale and will be introduced with an original poem by Emily Marie accompanied by original music by Ross Goldstein. The entire show is emceed by Bill Nolde with background music by Stefan Schyga. “We are so grateful to have these talented artisans share their work with us. Their contributions add so much to the show”, states Lisa Rush, stage manager for the show.

Beverly Bean of Artisan Mill Bakery will be providing tea time treats through the Silco Theater Concessions.

In addition to the show, there will be five wonderful gift basket drawings. SWFAC members and community members have donated items to make the baskets appealing to everyone. These are amazing baskets and they alone are worth coming to the show!

Seating for the event is open with doors opening at 1:15 pm.

We are especially grateful to our sponsors the Town of Silver City, Janey and Suzi and the Elks Club. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at our homepage at www.fiberartscollective.org. Few tickets remain and we encourage people to purchase tickets soon.
