18 TIPS TO KEEP YOU AND YOUR FAMILY SAFE

 Maintain social distancing, but keep in touch with friends
 Don’t get caught up in the net of fear in social media
 Protect and care for the elderly, your children and pets
 Be prepared for the worst, but don’t overload yourself
 Know who the enemy is and have a backup plan
 Keep it simple & safe by putting out fires one at a time
 Don’t fly off the handle and ruin your reputation
 All hands on deck, but don’t rock the boat
 Ask the pilot before you jump to conclusions
 Never give up, never give in, but always bend a bit
 Lend a hand, lend an ear, and pay it forward
 You’re never too old to accomplish your last mission
 Remember to call on and/or help a fellow veteran
 Pledge your allegiance by honoring our country & colors
 Laughter is good medicine if made in good taste
 There’s an oasis in every desert, a shelter in every storm
 And there’s always a silver lining behind every cloud
 So just hold on and hang in there; we’re in this together!

18 THINGS YOU CAN DO TO BEAT THE COVID-19 BLUES

 Stay connected with friends and family through social media
 Wash your hands often with joy to ensure good hygiene
 Go camping with your family to practice social distancing
 Stay at home and dine out by having a BBQ or picnic
 Exercise and stay fit while taking care of your pets
 Call and check on a fellow veteran, elderly friend or neighbor
 Make some home improvements with all your spare time
 Read a classic book with your spouse or to your children
 Plant a raised bed vegetable garden or grow some flowers
 Write a letter to an old friend or send a care package to a soldier
 Learn to play a musical instrument or practice your talent
 Go hiking, biking, hunting or fishing in the great outdoors
 Work on your bucket list or make a honey to do list
 Think outside the box but don’t talk around in circles
 Create a lasting work of art or start a homemade craft project
 Write a story, compose a song, or keep a diary of your life
 Take an online college course or research and study for a career
 Pray for the health and safety of your family friends and nation
