Weekly US covid new cases rose, deaths fell, covid beds in use leveled but admissions stopped falling [page 5, 7, 8, 25]
Three new covid sub variants BQ.1, BQ.1.1 and BF.7 are rapidly rising [page 34]
Weekly Influenza cases have rapidly risen for the 9th week [page 38, 39]
Weekly RSV cases have risen in AZ, CO, and TX. NOTE: NM data questionable [page 40, 41, 42]
Weekly Monkeypox cases are very low and continued to fall even lower this week [page 43, 44]

OUR LOCAL GEOGRAPHIC AREA (Grant County):

Grant County Week on Week covid cases fell, case rate 86, last week 91 [page 5, 16, 22]
Silver City, Bayard, and Hurley covid week on week cases fell [page 17, 18]. Grant County covid hospital admissions rose to 2, and covid ED visits also rose [page 23]. Deaths in Grant County 0, Luna 0, Sierra 0, Dona Ana 2 [page 15].

OUR STATE (New Mexico):

NM week on week cases this week rose to 3501 up from 2784 the week before; and positivity also rose [page 13, 14]. NM daily hospital bed usage rose [page 13, 14, 24]. Deaths leveled in NM [page 14, 15].

NEIGHBORING STATES:

AZ, and CO cases, beds, and positivity rose. TX cases, and positivity rose but beds fell [page 9, 10, 11]

* US COVID daily hospital admissions trend (7 day averages) are no longer going down [CDC] [page 25]

11/04/22: Hospitalization rates for the flu are at their highest level since 2010, according to the CDC.

11/02/22: RSV, influenza can fuse together to create hybrid virus. "viruses from two completely different families combining with the genomes and the external proteins of both viruses. It is a new type of virus pathogen."

11/01/22: Pfizer's trial RSV vaccine will be submitted to the FDA for approval by the end of 2022

10/31/22: Cumulative flu hospitalization rate hits 13-year high

10/20/20: Reports reveal the new omicron sub variants evade AstraZeneca's Evusheld, and Eli Lilly's Bebtelovimab.
