Despite a day that turned cold and windy, the streets of Silver City were full of people in search of the perfect chocolate treat.
Chocolate Fantasia 2019, themed “Children’s Storybook Fantasia” featured 31 chocolatiers’ creations in stores and galleries decorated as tales from children’s storybooks. Later in the day, people wanting to buy tickets had to be turned away, as the event was sold out. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Mimbres Region Arts Council’s education and student outreach programs.
