The Mims Lake Fire burning on private land in Truth or Consequences, Sierra County is 30% contained. According to local police, evacuations were lifted around 11:00 p.m. last night and residents were allowed to return home. Residential structures are no longer threatened. The fire is estimated at 60 acres. Firefighters will continue to mop-up hot spots and secure containment lines. The fire started at 4:00 p.m. Thursday (06/18) on the south side of Mims Lake.
