Santa Clara – The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One office is pleased to announce the upcoming installation of a pedestrian trail to the Santa Clara area.

James Hamilton Construction Company (Contractor) will begin the installation of the new pedestrian trail to included lighting, signage and a new crosswalk. This project is estimated at just over $5.1 million and is scheduled to be completed the end of October 2020. US 180 will remain open during construction with lane closures as needed; traffic control will be in place for the safety of our construction workers. Contractor hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m.
