The Silver City Police Department in conjunction with the Silver Consolidated School District would like to remind the community of the following: 

Please do not drop off children except in designated areas set forth by the school your children are attending. Silver High School is not currently in session, however surrounding schools in the district are currently in session. Flashing school zone speed limit signs are placed throughout the school district and we want to remind the public to please obey all traffic signals and speed limit signs. Officers will be out in force to conduct traffic enforcement and ensure everyone’s safety. Officers will also be conducting more frequent patrols within the school district for increased visibility and safety.
