I-10 is closed eastbound at milepost 85 (Deming) due to police activity, detour onto NM 549. West bound lanes are having intermittent lane closures from milepost 102 (Akela) to milepost 85(Deming). Law enforcement is on scene, motorists are asked to reduce speed, obey posted signs, and watch for emergency personnel, use extreme caution. Please expect delays, seek an alternate route.

According to KRWG, all of I-10 is closed in Las Cruces due to police activity.
