On Wednesday, June 23, at about 7 a.m., New Mexico Game and Fish personnel tranquilized a bear which had climbed a tree in the front of the Grant County Courthouse. The bear was transported to an unknown location and released, according to Grant County Regional Dispatch Authority staff.
