According to a Grant County Sheriff's Office press release, Nicasio Placencio, 45, of Silver City,
appeared before Sixth Judicial Court Judge James Foy on Monday, Aug. 1, 2022, for sentencing
on a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, involving forcing a child to watch
pornographic material. Placencio's probation status was revoked, and he was remanded to the
Department of Corrections for a term of four years.
