On August 6, 2022 at approximately 7:06pm, Grant County Sheriff's Deputies, Silver City Police Officers, Volunteer Fire and EMS units were dispatched to Rosedale Road in Grant County in regards to a reported motorcycle accident. Upon arrival, Deputies encountered a single subject (believed to be the sole rider) unconscious and unresponsive. The rider was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained fatal injuries. The identity of the deceased will not be released at this time pending notification of next-of-kin.

At the current time, the investigation into this matter will remain active pending completion of the Office of the Medical Investigator's report.
