Bayard Police Department

Monday, Oct. 7

Reckless driver
Highway 180 and Hurley Street
Gray Cadillac swerving and speeding. Officer went traffic with vehicle at Hurley Street and Tom Foy Blvd advising driver was changing clothes while driving.

Caller advised her 4-year-old granddaughter was living with her but her mother was sent to jail and her father picked her up. Officer had contact advising daughter and father are not home at this time/will come back later.

Tuesday, Oct. 8

Domestic disturbance
Caller advised a named male is fighting outside with a female. Officer conducting warrant check on a named individual.

Runnels Drive
Caller advising he heard children crying and when he went to check he saw the children outside by themselves. Officer advised clear/everything is okay.

Wednesday, Oct. 9

Domestic disturbance
N. Railroad Street
Caller advised he was in a fight with his sister/they were hitting each other. Caller is highly intoxicated and refused medical for both. Officer requested EMS for a 21-year-old female complaining of ankle pain/possibly broken/advised one in protective custody/will be en route to GRMC shortly/en route to GRMC with one male juvi.

Two elderly subjects in a silver Chevy Cruze parked next to the ATM/vehicle has been there for about 20 minutes/female and male in the vehicle and female has her head down. Officer had contact.

Male lying in the roadway. Officer advising male intoxicated and fell/blood on face.

Disturbance
Dayhill Street
Caller advised two subjects are arguing. Officer had contact with a female advising everything is okay.

Maple Street
Male came over and said to send an ambulance but didn’t say why/looks like they were fighting. Officer advised a 24-year-old female has a large laceration to her left arm/it is squirting blood according to the people at the house but it is wrapped.

Intoxicated male just wants to talk to someone. Officer advised will be taking this male to GRMC and will be notifying his uncle.

Thursday, Oct. 10

Criminal trespass warning
101 Tom Foy Blvd.
Male left with possibly something in his pocket/on foot walking toward Food Basket.

Welfare check
Tom Foy Blvd.
Can hear a female yelling about her phone. Officer had negative contact.

Reckless driver
Highway 180 @ Cobre High
Officer had contact with vehicle advising driver is okay/negative on being drunk/she did have an interlock in the vehicle and she did blow into it to start the vehicle.

Caller in a Jeep Patriot headed to Santa Clara hit a deer. Owner called wrecker/deputy standing by.

Caller advised a white Nissan is parked in yard. Officer had contact with NMSP who did locate the vehicle/they were hiding from NMSP.
