Silver City, NM, November 7, 2019—For Immediate Release. All Gila National Forest offices and ranger stations will be closed on Monday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day and in honor of Americans who have served in the armed forces. Regular business hours will resume Tuesday, November 12. Day-use fees at the Catwalk Recreation Area will be waived November 9-11, as part of the Fee-Free Program.

Despite the office closure law enforcement officers will be on-duty on the holiday for the safety of visitors.
