Pictured is a float from a previous Lighted Christmas Parade.The 29th Annual Lighted Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 7 pm.  This wonderful community event is sponsored by Silver City MainStreet, the Town of Silver City, and Hidalgo Medical Services. 

“This year, there is no theme, to make it easier for people to use what they have on hand to make a float. We will be judging on child appeal, creativity, and how well lighted the floats are, states Patrick Hoskins, board president of Silver City MainStreet. This parade is about doing something for children and families. Everyone is welcome to make a float. Awards will be given out immediately after the parade at The Silco Theater, and we hear that Santa is going to visit the Silco Theater too!”
