Dawn Huffaker (poetry)

Marilyn & Ron Huffaker (photography)

The mountains of southwest New Mexico have been Dawn’s home for over 50 years.  She delights in capturing the beauty of nature with her poetry and writing.  Has published four books so far: Flights of Fancy: Volume 1, Flower Escapes (Book 1), I Will Fly, and Poetry to Ponder.

Her current project is this calendar for 2020.  Each month has an outdoor photo that can be found in the mountains of New Mexico.  All are taken by Marilyn and Ron, her parents, not far from their house.  There is an original poem inspired by each photo.  Together they give the reader a new insight into and appreciation of nature.
