Silver City, NM, January 27, 2020–PFLAG Silver City will hold its next monthly meeting on Tuesday, February 4, 6:00 PM, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 3845 N. Swan. The public is invited, and refreshments will be served.

Attendees will hear about ongoing efforts to improve medical care for LGBTQ persons in the Grant County area and about work with WNMU to pursue a Center for Inclusion and Social Justice.  Both projects are a joint effort of PFLAG Silver City and the ACLU Southwest New Mexico Chapter.  In addition, there will be time for confidential sharing and support.

Founded in 1973 after the simple act of a mother publicly supporting her gay son, PFLAG is the nation's largest family and ally organization.  For more information, call 575-590-8797 or go to pflagsilver.org.
