The Grant County Democratic Party County Central Committee Call to Convention

The Grant County Democratic Party (GCDP), Acting Grant County Chairperson according to Article III, Section 1, Rule 1.1 is issuing a Call of the County Central Committee to convene on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at the Brown Derby, 410 N Bayard St, Santa Clara, NM. Doors will open at 9 a.m. and close at 10 a.m. 

The meeting’s purpose is to elect the party chair and any other related business to the CCC. According to  Article III, Section 2, Rule 2.5 proxies are allowed as long as they are signed by the issuing person and only three proxies may be carried per person. 

This serves as the publication notice to the GCDP per Article 1, Section 3, Rules 3.4.5. Those interested in running for party chairperson MUST be a Registered Democrat. Please contact the GCDP Acting Chair for further information @ fgonzales104@gmail.com or 575-956-8942.

The Grant County Democratic Party Call to Pre-Primary Convention

The NMDP State Chairperson according to Article II, Section 4, Rule 1.1 is issuing a Call to Convention of the Grant County Democratic Party (GCDP) to convene on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at the Brown Derby, 410 N Bayard St, Santa Clara, NM. Doors will open at 9 a.m. and   close at 10 a.m. 

The convention’s purpose according to Article 2, Section 4, Rule 1.3.1 is to elect 13 delegates and Alternate Delegates Article 2, Section4, Rule 1.3.2 to the Pre-Primary Convention. There are no proxies for the Pre-Primary Convention. The person must check-in to the convention and assign their credentials to a person from their same ward.
