Bayard Police Department

Suspicious vehicle
Watson Street
Officer had negative contact/did speak to caller who advised it was a named individual who was waiting for the 4-wheeler to come out of the ditch.

Domestic disturbance
North Street
Caller said they can hear screaming/can hear a lot of yelling/have an open line at location. Female came back to the line advising her son is on something and he has her husband and he is hurting her husband/female is yelling at someone to get out of her house. Officer advised everything is okay/a named individual left upon request.

Saturday, Mar. 14

Burglary
314 Tom Foy Blvd.
Caller did enter the building to shut the alarm off/she is now outside the building/subjects broke the windows in the back near the cash register/they took things from inside the store/waiting for police.

Accident-property damage
1101 Tom Foy Blvd.
White Saturn vs blue Chevy Equinox/negative on any injuries.

Harassment
Empire Street
Neighbor is harassing caller’s animals by yelling at them and throwing rocks at caller’s house/one of their animals died recently and the vet said it was poisoned. Officer advised spoke to caller on phone/unit clear.

Sunday, Mar. 15

Unwanted subject
Fahey Street
Caller advised three or four middle school-age children playing basketball and the balls keep going into his backyard/caller is afraid his dog might bite them/they are not there now they are across the street.

Disturbance
Watson Street
Caller advised that his neighbor is screaming and yelling that he is going to kill everybody.

Shoplifting
101 Tom Foy Blvd.
Female in all black took a bunch of items and walked out up the street toward Tipe Construction and threw some of the items on the property. Officer advised clear/will call back when manager has footage.

Hurley Police Department

Friday, Mar. 13

Domestic disturbance
204 Cortez Avenue
Caller advised a couple is fighting in the street. Officer advised he just spoke with them moments ago and everything seemed okay, but he will head back out and make contact again/officer had negative contact.

Welfare check
Romero Avenue
Father is not answering phone call and he is supposed to let caller call 2-year-old daughter/a named female is possibly in the house as well and caller said she might have a warrant. Officer had negative contact with anyone at the residence.

Suspicious vehicle
B Street
Property owner advised caller about problem with squatters and to keep an eye on the property/noticed 4door tan sedan there about five minutes ago. Officer and BPD officer advised two windows are open in the back and has an open door in front/everything is okay.

Domestic disturbance
Carrasco Avenue
20-year-old female/trouble breathing/having an anxiety attack/has been drinking/was fighting with her boyfriend/she stated he just left/he did push her/she stated she is getting dizzy/he has been drinking as well and left in a silver Mitsubishi Eclipse. Officer had negative contact with vehicle.

Saturday, Mar. 14

Welfare check
S. Prescott Street
Caller advised that several smaller girls are playing at the playground at the elementary school across the street from caller’s house.

Domestic disturbance
W. Lincoln Street
Caller advised that her ex-boyfriend is there and threw a fit and broke her radio. Dispatcher could hear the male yelling at the female. Caller disconnected line before dispatcher could obtain info from her.

Welfare check
N. Mineral Street
Caller believes his son is at caller’s mother’s house and is possibly on narcotics and is possibly hurting her/the mother just returned home from the hospital. Clear from address en route to address in Silver/subject dropped off in front of Jalisco.

Sunday, Mar. 15

W. Lincoln Street
Caller advised a male’s ankle monitor is low/they have made several attempts to call the male and he is not responding. Deputy had contact advising clear/male said he will put his ankle monitor to charge.

Stolen motor vehicle
N. Mineral Street
Caller advised that her grandson took her van/he did threaten suicide/he has a knife/van is an old blue model. Deputy advised on Royal – 55 mph/west on 180/on-coming traffic/trying to go head-on with other vehicles.

Welfare check
Highways 180 and 152
Check on a named male walking without any shoes/he left the hospital/said he was suicidal and hasn’t been taking his medication and walking around dazed. Caller is following him in a black Toyota Avalon/they are headed east. Caller advised she was able to pick up the male/now at Walmart/she does not understand how LE could allow a 22-year-old male to do whatever he wants/advised she is going to take him to Oregon and disconnected.
