The High Desert Humane Society Animal Shelter is open Tuesday - Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. No viewing at this time. Closed Sunday and Monday.

We are open for adoptions by appointment, our number is 575-538-9261. We are still issuing HALT coupons for spaying and neutering any time we are open. We are also still open for animal intake on cats and dogs. We are limiting the number of visitors in the building and only 2 in the lobby area at a time.
