The Mimbres Region Arts Council announces the transfer of the Southwest Print Fiesta event to Kyle Durrie and Jamie Karolich of Power & Light Press. Beginning August 5, the event will begin planning and operating under the capable guidance of Durrie and Karolich. The board and staff of the Mimbres Region Arts Council will continue to support the vision of the event and all efforts to grow its artistic and economic impact in the community.

“You would be hard pressed to find more talented individuals to lead this event into the future. Kyle and Jamie have been vital partners from the start and I can’t wait to see what comes next. The Print Fiesta is proof that our creative community is thriving” – Kevin Lenkner, Executive Director of the Mimbres Region Arts Council.

“We are thrilled and honored to help usher the Southwest Print Fiesta into its next chapter. We love this event and we are excited to build upon its mission to celebrate printmaking and printmakers throughout the Southwest, while providing creative and educational opportunities for our local community and beyond."

"While we won’t be holding an in-person festival in 2020, we currently are planning several projects to keep folks engaged this fall, and are already working on programming for what we hope will be a triumphant return in 2021.” - Kyle Durrie and Jamie Karolich, co-directors of the Southwest Print Fiesta.
