Monday, Aug. 17

Welfare check
Iglesia Street – Hanover
Caller advised she wanted to make a complaint with HMS because a doctor there prescribed her husband pills that she does not believe her husband should be taking. When caller was told she would have to contact HMS, caller got upset and said, “Don’t be surprised when one of us is dead,” then disconnected the line. Deputy advised everything is okay/clear.

Accident-property damage
Highway 356 – MM 4
Deputy requested ambulance for a female to be checked out/no chief complaint/also requested wrecker for vehicle/wrecker en route/one in unit en route to her residence.

Unwanted subject
Cobre Street – Vanadium
Caller advised her son is outside her house trying to get in/believes he is intoxicated/he is not allowed in the house when he is drinking. Deputy advised will be clear/son advised he would stay in his room.

Suspicious vehicle
Vesuvius and Swan Street
Caller advised driver of blue minivan is trying to break into houses. Deputy made contact with driver/everything is okay/takes drives out to Dos Griegos, usually stops at the road before Vesuvius. He stopped and had his back hatch open rearranging items in his vehicle.

Harassment
Adams Lane -- Arenas Valley
Caller advised that his ex-girlfriend has been harassing him since last Saturday re: her breaking into his home with some males/no matter where he goes they continue to harass him.

Harassment
Highway 15 – Pinos Altos
Caller advised that a named male told her that he was going to shove his male parts into her. Officer spoke to caller.

DV order violation
Laguna del Oso – Upper Mimbres
Caller advised she is worried that her husband may have tampered with her vehicle as it is not working correctly. Caller called back advising she forgot she drove it Wednesday morning before the altercation.

Reckless driver
Highway 180 and Peterson Drive
White Dodge pickup slamming on the brakes and speeding up. SCPD officer saw two, following one of them.

Larceny
Racetrack Road
Caller advised that a named male just took his chainsaw/she is the child’s mother/she left in a red Chevy truck with wood in the back.

Stolen motor vehicle
Highway 180 – Arenas Valley
Caller advised that someone has stolen his 2013 white Chevy Malibu/he thinks he knows who took it. Advised possible driver is a named female/VIN returns to a named male.

Domestic disturbance
T&M Dairy Road – Hanover
Between a named couple. Caller advised female tried to leave in a white Yukon and possibly wrecked into a fence/parties are outside arguing. Deputy spoke to both parties who stated they both became physical with each other but neither wanted to file any charges.

Weapons fired
Hermosa Street – Fierro
Caller advising he just heard three shots/sounds like a lot of females outside yelling.
Deputies advised see if NMSP can assist/units clear/everything is okay.

Tuesday, Aug. 18

Suspicious vehicle
Bobwhite Drive
A named female is driving up and down Bobwhite shining a light in houses from the roadway.
Deputy had contact with caller/made contact with the driver who denied driving around and spotlighting/spoke with neighbor who said he saw her in his yard/advised the female to stay in her residence for the night.

Welfare check
E. Highway 180 – Arenas Valley
Caller advised there has been no contact for four days with a 10-year-old boy who is visiting his grandparents/Sunday the grandmother called the mother and advised she had no idea where the small child and father are/caller does not know about a custody agreement. Deputy made contact with grandfather who advised dad and son . . .

Driving while intoxicated
Highway 180 – MM 150 – (2 ½ miles south of upper Mimbres River crossing)
Wife has been drinking and left/she is highly intoxicated. Deputy advised negative contact with the vehicle. Luna County called advising they made contact with caller/advised there was a domestic and to still ATL for the vehicle and female.

Wednesday, Aug. 19

Larceny
S. Bear Creek Road – Pinos Altos
Caller advised he had a Trump sign stolen off the fence. Caller stated that he spent $100 to make it and will make it again/stated he had similar problems four years earlier/he will also be putting up some cameras.

Larceny
Highway 152 – MM 2.5 (halfway between DOT yard and Hanover)
Caller advised someone stole her dog from the accident scene. Deputy spoke to caller.

Larceny
Mountain View Drive
Caller believes her grandson took $100 from her bookshelf/did not want charges.

Domestic disturbance
Tabor Drive
Caller advised that the father of her child just left in a red/green Ford Ranger after throwing something at the glass door. Deputies went traffic with the vehicle at 13th and Hudson streets/has contact with the male.

Harassment
W. Highway 180 – Cliff
A named male is across the street harassing caller by waving at her. Deputy served DVO on subject and will be escorted to property to retrieve the remainder of his property.

Game and Fish
Highway 180 – MM 119 (1 mile east of Uncle Woody’s Flea Market)
Dead deer in roadway.

Accident-property damage
Highway 180 and Delk Drive
EMS1 passing vehicle on side of the highway/possibly involved in an accident. Deputy out with vehicle advising looks like it has blown a left front tire.

Thursday, Aug. 20

Fraud/embezzlement
Highway 356 – Hanover
Caller advised that a named female has been using caller’s credit card to pay her cell phone bill since December.

Burglary
Saavedra Road
Caller advised her house was broken into the other night/she is also being harassed by her ex and his friends.

Injuring/tampering with motor vehicle
North Hurley Road
A named male broke the driver’s side mirror to his dark blue Ford Expedition with his fist.

Welfare check
N. Hurley Road and Main Street
Caller advised that a female and a toddler are sitting on the shoulder of the road and the female appears to be in distress. Second caller advised that a male came to her door and said a female had been beat up and was outside of the Penjamo Bar. Deputy and Hurley PD officer in area of Penjamo Bar.

Welfare check
Bear Creek Cabins – 88 Main Street
Small gray Nissan truck got stuck. Caller called back advising the other daughter found her and LE doesn’t have to respond. Deputies made contact with vehicle and subject of welcheck.
