Silver City MainStreet in cooperation with NM MainStreet is helping to pilot a new program that connects MainStreet district businesses with businesses experts.

The MainStreet Adviser Network connects small business owners, aspiring business owners, and entrepreneurs located in or affiliated with MainStreet Districts with experienced business leaders and expert advisers. Tapping into networks cultivated over decades by the State's premier Entrepreneur & Small Business Support Organizations this program harnesses the intellectual capital, connections, and expertise of these networks for the benefit of all New Mexicans.

If you are new to owning a business, have an accounting question, legal question, want to start a business, or learn how to promote on social media, the New Mexico MainStreet Advisor Network can help, like really help!

One of the advantages of having a business in the downtown Silver City MainStreet district is that MainStreet works to help businesses through promotions, free classes, and events to bring shoppers to the area.

Silver City MainStreet also works hard on historic preservation and placemaking to make downtown a destination for both residents and shoppers. The NM MainStreet Advisor Network is the latest program developed to help downtown businesses.

If you have questions about the program please contact Charmeine Wait, Executive Director of Silver City MainStreet at 575-534-1700.

The mission of Silver City MainStreet is "To encourage a vibrant, historic downtown Silver City which is recognized as the heart of our diverse community." Please visit our website, www.silvercitymainstreet.com to learn more.
