The Legislative Session begins in less than a week. As I prepare, I am reaching out to constituents in an effort to better understand the needs of our district, and to connect with residents who I may not have had the chance to interact with.

Several organizations are hosting informational webinars about the new PPP Loan Program, includes more flexible spending options. A total of $284 billion is available nationwide, with $35 billion specifically for first-time PPP borrowers.
The National Federation of Independent Business is hosting a "PPP Round 2 Application Step-by-Step" webinar on Wednesday, January 13 at 10:00 a.m. The webinar will cover the new SBA PPP guidance and application, steps to determine eligibility for a second PPP, and steps to calculate the amount of a second PPP. The New Mexico Economic Development Department is hosting a "PPP Informational Webinar on Friday, January 15 at 11:30 a.m. The webinar is co-hosted by the NM Small Business Developmetn Center, U.S. Small Business Administration and the Office of Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham.
