Bayard Police Department

Monday, July 26

Domestic disturbance
N. East Street
Caller advised her husband is yelling at her and she doesn't want him to know she called. He is yelling in the background/he is counting in the background for her to go to him. Caller advised he is having mental health issues. Deputies advised to show him with one in investigative detention at this time/has one in male in protective custody en route to GRMC /advising he was aggressive.

Watson Street
Advised someone hit a gas meter/you can smell the gas. Officer advised he is on scene/did contact gas emergency/they are en route. Attempted paging BFD twice with negative response/gas was shut off properly/don't hear anything.

Shoplifting
1101 Tom Foy Blvd.
Caller advised they had a female attempt to shoplift in the store/she seemed slightly intoxicated/just came back into the store/getting into a red Ford Expedition with two kids inside.

Caller advised a female in a green van is broken down/she has two kids with her who are running around the parking lot/kids are inside the vehicle now/no license plate/does not want LE/advised will make CYFD report.

Domestic disturbance
Cactus Street
There is a domestic in a white car/caller advised the male pulled over and is beating the female. Officer advised units clear/everything is okay/all verbal.

Welfare check
Main Street
Advised that her niece advised that she took about 30 pills/unknown how many or what kind. Officer requested ambulance for 31-year-old female who did take pills.

Royal Street
Advised that a named male keeps harassing her by phone/she has a restraining order and the officers have not done anything since November to serve him with the DVO/his conduct is menacing and harassing in nature.

Domestic disturbance

Caller advised a female is trying to break a window to a car/one of the parties went inside. Officer advised everything is okay/DWI/other officer responding.

Caller advised his daughter has been out of it, acting violent/he believes she is on something/she is being violent to herself and talking about suicide. Caller called back advising his daughter returned home. Deputy has one in protective custody en route to GRMC.

Caller advised that a generator, tools, and an air compressor were taken. Have contact with a named male.

Officer made contact with a named female advising she is advising nothing happened/other party has left.

N. James and W. Oak streets
Caller advised a named male is outside yelling. Deputy made contact with male who agreed to stop yelling.

Injuring/tampering with motor vehicle
N. Cleveland Street
Caller advised yesterday someone broke out the window on his 2007 Chevy Silverado. Officer advised this happened in Silver City limits/nothing was done/caller was advised to go to SCPD.

Harassment
Santa Clara Laundry
Male in a bright yellow Hummer was threatening things toward owner/male left already.

Unwanted subject
N. Hutchinson Street
Caller advised his mother lives at this residence and people unlocked the door without permission/caller wants them out. Officer advised everything is okay/keys were turned over before they left for Hatch.

Advised some power tools were taken from vehicle.
