Stolen motor vehicle
Grant County Road Department
Caller advised someone broke into the building on Monday and took some of the keys out of the shop and now two county vehicles are missing/lock was broken off. Deputy advised Luna County, NMSP, Border Patrol.

Accident-property damage
Fierro and Iglesia roads
Blue car with California license plate/no one around.

Larceny
Highway 61 – Faywood
Advised that three UPS packages were taken from his residence yesterday between 2 and 5 p.m.

Welfare check
Highway 180 – MM 143 (1 mile west of rest area)
Caller advised passed a red Toyota with a female hanging out the side/caller did not stop. NMSP made contact with female/she was having car trouble and did not want help.

Domestic disturbance
Racetrack Road – Arenas Valley
Advised that a couple is fighting in this trailer/sounds physical. Deputy advised negative contact/no one coming to the door.

Larceny
Mano Lane – San Lorenzo
Horse trailer stolen.

Welfare check
Upper Campground
Negative contact with camp host.

Ancheta Road – San Lorenzo
Advised she can smell gasoline/she is scared there might be a fire that is going to burn her out. Deputy advised a subject is using fuel to kill weeds on his property.

Sunday, Aug. 1

Unwanted subject
Nan Ranch – Highway 61
Advised she needs a named female removed from the property/she is causing problems and damage/got physical with her boyfriend. Deputy advised they rented property for their wedding and female is causing issues/clear/one female in unit.

Welfare check
Cottage San Road
Caller has not heard from a 75-year-old female since Friday/they have been calling and she is not answering/she has a history of falls. Deputy advised negative contact with anyone coming to the door/unable to leave message for the son.

Criminal damage to property
Racetrack Road – Arenas Valley
Caller advised someone tried to break into the residence/it is a vacant residence/damage was done to a vehicle parked there. Deputy advised clear/supplement done.

Fraud/embezzlement
Chukar Drive
Caller advised someone used her info to apply for unemployment.

Breaking and entering
Ft Bayard Street
Caller advised her neighbor just called her and said there is a child on her property who is trespassing.

Weapons fired
Truck Bypass and Highway 180
Caller heard 3-4 shots. Deputies advised in the area ATL/heard additional shots from area of cemetery. SCPD officer advised observed fireworks from the area. Deputy advised units clear/negative contact with any shots fired.
