The annual Wreaths Across America program for Fort Bayard National Cemetery is underway for 2021. This program invites members of the Grant County community to remember veterans buried at the cemetery during the Christmas holiday season. This year's event will take place Saturday, December 18.

Join other individuals, organizations, and businesses who are helping by sponsoring wreaths to place at Fort Bayard. Each wreath costs $15; however, for every two wreaths purchased, an additional third wreath will be provided.

A unique feature at Fort Bayard is that local special requests for wreath placements are honored with those placements guaranteed. Additionally, a remembrance program is created listing each individual being honored with a wreath as well as listing the name of each sponsor.
