The Grant County Trails and Outdoor Recreation project team will be in Grant County this week for final site visit and a series of engagement open houses! We've spent the last few months compiling what we've learned from previous engagement sessions, asset inventory and site analysis, and stakeholder sessions into a set of draft recommendations for the County. We have scheduled three open house events throughout the county to share what we've learned and where we are:
Wednesday, June 8, from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm at the Round Up Lodge in Mimbres,
Thursday, June 9, from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm at Exhibit Center at the Fairgrounds in Cliff
Friday June 10, from 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm at the Grant County Administrative Building in Silver City
We invite you to stop by and provide input on the draft recommendations and share more ideas for the future. Attendees are welcome to stop by at any time during the allotted time windows. We will also have a booth at the Rodeo on June 11 at the Southwest Horseman's Arena gathering additional insight and ideas. We are also available for one-on-one meetings by request Wednesday-Saturday. Please let me know if you'd like to schedule anything with us.
