Civil Discourse, a public affairs program of Gila/Mimbres Community Radio, will present three half-hour interviews on Saturday, August 6, 2022, beginning at 11:00 a.m., on the impacts of the July 16, 1945 atomic bomb test on New Mexicans, the experiences of those who lived near the Trinity Site where the test took place, and the quest for global nuclear disarmament. The interviews will be broadcast on the 77th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Japan, on KURU 89.1 FM and streamed on the Internet at GMCR.org.
