Jeff Cramm, Director Silver City Disc Golf Course, will speak to the Rotary Club on August 16, 2022. Topic: Challenges and excitement that Disc Golf brings to the community. The State of New Mexico and the office of Governor Lujan Grisham have placed a strong emphasis on the Outdoor Recreation Economy in New Mexico, and are supportive of programs and activities that encourage people to enjoy the outdoor offerings that New Mexico has to offer.

There is a change of venue for the month of August. The Rotary meetings will meet at Q’s Southern Bistro (use the entrance on the left.) 101 W. College Ave. at Pope. The meeting is from 12 noon to 1 p.m., but the room is open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Meetings are open to the public; lunch can be ordered from the menu.

Since its founding in 1923, the Silver City Rotary Club has provided support and service to numerous non-profit organizations and civic causes in Silver City and Grant County as well as supporting and participating in humanitarian projects sponsored by Rotary International.
