Grant County author Laura Ramnarace is looking forward to the publication of Rising Home. She is hosting a book launch on Saturday, August 27 at 11 a.m. at Wolfgrounds Community Coffeehouse and Café, 188 E. 8th Street. This event will also feature a reading from Soraya’s new release Wild Kinship.

After a fast-moving virus and rampant climate change has killed most of the world’s population, Lakshmi Boykin and a team from the Gila region of New Mexico travel to the few habitable areas left in the world. With humanity teetering on the brink of extinction, the team must convince these remnants to unite for the benefit of all. Set in the near, post-apocalyptic future, the Sung Home trilogy is the story of the shattering loss of a doomed way of life and a second chance for humanity. Rising Home is the third book in the trilogy.

Laura Ramnarace lives in southwestern New Mexico near the Gila National Forest where she works as a mediator and educator.
