Washington, D.C. (October 9, 2018) Today, Congressman Steve Pearce toured Sandia National Lab with United States Secretary of Energy, Rick Perry.

“New Mexico’s national labs have played a central role in our nation’s national security since the Manhattan Project in the 1940s. Today, Sandia and Los Alamos are the corner stone of our nuclear arsenal. Not only does Sandia’s mission support the nation and our safety, but it helps promote and expand New Mexico’s STEM capabilities. Sandia supports thousands of jobs and billions in investment in our State. It is vital we continue to support the lab and its ongoing mission. I greatly appreciate Secretary Perry recognizing the importance of Sandia, and taking the time to tour the lab with me today.”
