To our valued community partners,

As our country continues to struggle to manage the COVID-19 emergency, we recognize that our company plays an important role in helping our customers stay connected – to their families, their workplaces, their schools, and the latest information about the virus – through the Internet.

We also know that for millions of low-income Americans who don't have Internet service at home, this uncertain time is going to be even more difficult to manage. As schools and businesses close and families are encouraged, or even mandated, to stay home, Internet connectivity becomes even more important.

Fortunately, there is something we can do to help. Dozens of our valued partners, like you, have reached out to ask for support, and we recently made two important announcements:

In the meantime, please help us spread the word by sharing this announcement from Dana Strong, President, Consumer Services, Comcast Cable, with your networks. There are many households who could benefit from this program, and with your help, we can raise awareness about this important opportunity. Please reach out to Internet_Essentials_Partners@comcast.com if there are any questions.

About Internet Essentials
The Internet Essentials program is available to all qualified low-income households in Comcast's service area. It offers low-cost internet service for $9.95/month, the option to purchase a heavily subsidized computer for under $150, and access to digital skills training materials online, in print, and in-person. Since 2011, Internet Essentials has helped connect more than 8 million people, from 2 million low-income households to Internet at home.

To sign up, applicants should go to www.internetessentials.com. The website can be read in seven different languages and includes the option to video chat with customer service agents in ASL. There are also two dedicated phone numbers. For English call 1-855-846-8376. Spanish-only speakers can call 1-855-765-6995.

Sincerely,
Julianne Phares
